A work item is a Company, Client, Project, Task or any other work item type you define. Work items are created in a hierarchical structure that models your real work. This structure makes it easy to logically group and report on daily activities. With a hierarchy of definable work items types you have the flexibility to model the simplest or most complex business and projects.
Work items are the focus and starting point to most actions in Timeless Time and Expense. Selecting a work item is the first step to adding time, expense and to do entries, creating assignments, adding notes, creating invoices, and even adding new work items.
You can add work items individually using the Insert menu. But if you want to quickly add many work items, you should use the Enter Multiple Work Items toolbar button where you have the option of entering assignments and estimates.
