Adding Assignments

In Enterprise mode the assignment tab is used to assign the work item to employees.

 

Assignments are made for users or user groups to track the progress of the work item by using the progress report, backlog report and status pane.  Assignments are shown on the to do tab of the planning pane for the assigned user.

 

Assignments consist of a user or user group, time estimate, cost estimate, priority, due date and note.  All fields are optional except user or user group.  However, it can be assigned to Anyone.

 

The more information provided the more valuable the information you receive when tracking your project using the dashboard and risks.
